Robert Winters

Robert first business transaction with China was in 1986 when he purchased a case lot of 200pcs of the “World’s Smallest Camera” and sold it through classified ad’s in the back of popular magazines.

He then started to regularly import from China in 1997 when he was the first seller in Canada of the small Electric Scooters which became a huge hit within only a few months.

After importing and selling many containers of scooters, he made his first trip to China in 2001 to visit the large trade shows and continued to source and buy many other products for his stores and wholesale dealers. Within 2 years, he had a network of dealers from the west coast to the east coast of Canada buying and selling his products including LCD TV’s (when they first came out) , DVB receivers, mobile cell phones, HDMI cables, cell phone accessories, satellite dishes and equipment, automotive accessories and an assortment of other products.

In 2010, Robert moved to Shenzhen, China and has since been working and living there dealing with suppliers, manufactures and factories on a day to day basis suppling some of the most popular E-Commerce companies in the world with products and assistance.

Charlotte Sun is the managing director of Ellis and Sun Limited which was founded in 2002, one of the leading manufacturers in China which supplies hardware products to the biggest hardware chain stores B&Q and Homebase in the UK, Europe and chain stores in northern Europe.

Since starting her company in 2002, she has personally directed the growth of her manufacturing business with sales more than 50 million RMB a year and still growing.

Prior to that she was a senior Financial analyst of JP Morgan for 2 years in London head office and two years in Hong Kong office till year 2001, and she was also a senior investment consultant of the world second largest US consultancy firm Hewitt Associates in Hong Kong for one year before leaving in 2002.

Ms. Sun graduated from University of Westminster in London in 1998 and holds a Bachelor of art degree in business information management and finance.

Charlotte is also the Managing Director and founder of Locker Locker Self Storage, personally looking after all facets of the company operations including sales, marketing, personnel as well as day to day operations.

Lawrence Yam

Lawrence Yam is also the joint managing director of Ellis and Sun Limited, which he co-founded with Charlotte Sun in 2002, one of the leading manufacturers in China which supplies hardware products to the biggest hardware chain store B&Q and Homebase in UK.

Lawrence manages and oversees the manufacturing and delivery of all products produced through the factory. He accepts nothing but perfection from his factory and ensures the goods are delivered on time.

Lawrence also oversees the production and quality control of the additional factory producing materials for the self-storage business, as well as the staff of over 350 people for both factories.

Prior to that he was a project manager of Mad Catz for 3 years before leaving in 2001, Mad Catz Interactive, Inc. (NYSE MKT/TSX: MCZ) is a global provider of innovative interactive entertainment products.

Lawrence graduated from Kunming University in China in 1989 and holds a high diploma degree in tourism management.
